Independent experience, model-specific checks
LEDFixLab is owner-operated, with previous work experience at Linsn and Unilumin. That background informs the focus on LED screen repair, technical documentation and careful parts identification. Learn more about LEDFixLab.
LEDFixLab is an independent tools, parts and technical-content website, not an official service center or authorized representative of the brands named here. Previous employment does not imply a current affiliation or endorsement. References below identify equipment and point to manufacturer information; they do not promise stock or compatibility.
Linsn LED control systems
For a Linsn receiving-card or control-system enquiry, photograph the sender and receiver markings separately. Record the installed software and version, the HUB connection and the module scan details. A physically similar card or matching Ethernet connector is not enough to establish a substitute.
Before replacing a part: Keep the original screen configuration before changing card settings. Confirm the software and configuration-file requirements for the specific controller generation.
NovaStar receiving cards and LED controllers
For a NovaStar system, identify the receiving card, sending device and module together. Record the NovaLCT version when that software is used. Incorrect screen mapping, module parameters or cabling can resemble a failed card; confirm the signal path before buying a replacement.
Before replacing a part: Keep the existing receiving-card parameter file and calibration data. Do not assume an arbitrary RCFG or RCFGX file matches the module, or that different card families share every feature.
Unilumin LED screen repair and module identification
An Unilumin brand label identifies the screen manufacturer, not the specification of every internal component. Start with the cabinet series, serial label and module PCB code. Establish whether the display uses exposed SMD components or a protected/encapsulated construction before planning access or rework.
Before replacing a part: Compare mounting and service access, module resolution, connectors and optical characteristics. Obtain the model-specific service instructions when the module is not intended for ordinary bead-level repair.
Dicolor LED cabinets and spare-part checks
For a Dicolor LED screen, include the cabinet model and whether it is a rental or fixed installation. Photograph the module rear, connectors, mounting points and labels. The same outer cabinet size does not establish that an internal module, mask or power connection is interchangeable.
Before replacing a part: Record the module revision and existing receiver. For outdoor equipment, the replacement and reassembly also need to preserve the original sealing and service requirements.
Yaham LED displays and replacement-component identification
For a Yaham display enquiry, document the display application, cabinet identification, module code and power-supply label. Separate a full-cabinet outage from a local pixel or row fault so that the enquiry focuses on the appropriate power, signal or module component.
Before replacing a part: Use the original voltage, current, connector and environmental requirements. A generic LED power supply or a similar-looking module must not be treated as a confirmed replacement from the brand name alone.
A specification checklist that applies across brands
| Component | Details to match |
|---|---|
| LED module | PCB code and revision, dimensions, resolution, scan mode, driver IC, connector pinout, voltage and mounting. |
| SMD LED lamp bead | Package and footprint, pinout and orientation, electrical ratings, brightness/color bin and application. |
| Driver IC | Complete marking, package, channel function, pin assignment and module operating requirements. |
| Receiving card / HUB | Exact card family and revision, supported configuration, output connection and installed software. |
| Power supply / cable | Rated output and input, load requirement, polarity, connector, wire rating, mounting and environment. |
What about other LED screen brands?
The same identification process applies to other manufacturers. Send the real labels instead of selecting a part from a brand-name keyword. We will review the information available and explain when an exact match cannot be established. Manufacturer-specific repair restrictions and warranty terms still apply.
